The breeding facility is located in the centre of an area of retained palm forest so that all animal holding pens are surrounded by forest, providing privacy and familiarity of surroundings. The pens themselves are extensively furnished with items to allow climbing and to provide refuges from aggressive cage-mates. Feeding regimes are designed to encourage the natural foraging behaviour of these animals.
